Pekerau Primary
The Safe & Happy Club has been operating an after school care programme from Pekerau Primary School since 2011. We then expanded to add a school holiday programme and more recently a breakfast club. Natalie Ching is the manager and with the help of her staff, does an awesome job looking after all our children.
Our breakfast club is open each morning from 7-8.30am and our afterschool care programme is open from 3-6pm. We also collect children from St Patricks School and Te Awamutu Intermediate. We offer a friendly, family like environment, where your child will be safe, happy and engaged.
Pirongia School
The Safe & Happy Club has been operating an after school care programme from Pirongia School since 2011. At the request of many parents we recently opened a breakfast club. Leanne Sexton is the manager and with the help of her staff, does an awesome job looking after all our children.
Our breakfast club is open each morning from 7.30-8.30am (7am on request) and our afterschool care programme is open from 3-6pm. We offer a friendly, family like environment, where your child will be safe, happy and engaged. Based at Pirongia School, we have full use of their fabulous playground, fields, courts and the pool in summer.
Te Awamutu Primary
The Safe & Happy Club has been operating a holiday programme from Te Awamutu Primary School since 2007. We started out very small with 2 staff and 10 children, 3 of which belonged to the staff.
Over the years our numbers grew, and we now are running at capacity most school holidays. We offer a friendly, family like environment and variety of activities during the holidays. We have a great range of onsite equipment, from dress ups, to a ‘boys’ and ‘girls’ area, games, sporting and well as xbox and ps3. (only allowed on at certain times) If you require afterschool care it is available from TAPS. This is operated by the school, and actually managed by myself.
